If you’re here for FM:RL, welcome. What is FM:RL? Good question. I don’t know.

FM:RL is this page. It’s a project I’ve been calling an autobiographical modular document-a-something. It’s complicated. It’s a series of different presentations of a single project.

The backbone of the project is a Vlog-esque webseries called “Proof of Concept.” In addition to the Vlog, there are three feature-length ‘documentary-esque narrative’ cuts. First, a full perspective director’s cut, called “Mistaken Nature.” Following this are two opposing cuts called “Solipserious” and “Solipsilly”; these are essentially the Vlog split down the middle by subject matter. There are a few other smaller pieces to the puzzle, but it really boils down to those four named films (which, again, are just different takes on the same project).

For a few different reasons, if you choose to watch anything on this page, I recommend turning on the subtitles.
